  The Center for Fertility and Gynecology was established in 1987 by Dr. Michael Vermesh, a fertility specialist providing the latest medical treatments.   In vitro fertilization (IVF)

  IVF is an effective method of overcoming a variety of fertility issues, including ovulation disorders and male factor infertility. Our doctors can perform IVF using eggs frozen at a younger age, allowing you to decide when you are ready to start your family. IVF has success rates that are consistently higher than all other assisted reproductive techniques, even for patients in their late 30s and 40s. The Center for Fertility & Gynecology has recently installed RI Witness™ – an electronic tracking and witnessing system which uses radio frequency ID technology to monitor all IVF Laboratory activity to ensure that samples used during the IVF process do not become mixed up. RI Witness safeguards eggs, sperm & embryos throughout an IVF cycle.

  Egg Donation and Surrogacy

Because we have our own egg donor database, your treatment will be much more cost-effective than if you worked with a donor agency. A single cycle of in vitro fertilization (IVF) with egg donation starts at just $12,900. Because of our extensive experience, careful diagnostics, and customized plans, our live birth rates are consistently higher compared to the national averages. We do not outsource our work to ultrasound technicians or nurses; our doctors perform every step of the process themselves.

  Tubal Reversal

  Most reversal surgeries can be completed in under three hours. Our doctors use tiny, precise incisions and the least invasive tools to ensure the surgery is as comfortable and low-risk as possible. Patients can expect to return to their regular activities within a week of their surgery. In most cases, they can try to get pregnant just one month after the procedure has been completed. At our clinic, the success rate of tubal ligation reversal is approximately 90 percent. Approximately 70 percent of patients are able to get pregnant within a year of surgery.

  Ovulation Induction

  Superovulation, or ovulation induction is the first stage in many fertility treatments including in vitro fertilization, intrauterine insemination, and egg donation. By increasing certain hormones in the body, the treatment triggers ovulation and increases the number of follicles that are available for harvesting. By providing our doctors multiples to harvest eggs from, this step also increases the likelihood of conception and gives us the ability to select only the healthiest eggs for fertilization. At the Center for Fertility and Gynecology in Los Angeles, we accomplish ovulation induction through the use of different medications and hormones. Dr. Vermesh and Dr. Toloubeydokhti will perform a thorough evaluation and determine the appropriate dosage and treatment plan for you.
